Set against the spectacular backdrop of MDL’s flagship Ocean Village Marina, the South Coast and Green Tech Boat Show is back with the very best global power, sail and electric brands and innovative eco-friendly products all at the same great venue.

Guided by Raymarine, the three-day event, taking place between 19 – 21 April, promises to be bigger and better than ever. Playing host to a vast range of on-water and shoreside exhibitors, with over 90 boats on display in the marina and more than 100 onshore exhibitors, as well as live guests and demonstrations, it is a must for serious buyers.

Whether you are a seasoned sailor or a potential new boat owner looking to dip your toes in the water, the South Coast and Green Tech Boat Show certainly delivers with an array of impressive vessels from tenders to luxurious yachts, alongside the latest cutting-edge electric boats and green technologies.

Setting the tone is an impressive line-up of power and sail boats, featuring several debuts and award-winners, from world-leading brands such as Beneteau, Lagoon, Axopar, Fairline, Hanse and Quarken.

Biggest exhibition of green marine tech
Specifically designed for boat owners wishing to make the switch to greener options, the show boasts the UK’s largest display of eco-friendly boats and innovative green technologies and sustainable products.

Representing renowned electric brands such as Candela, Optima and RS Electric Boats, dealers and company representatives will be on hand throughout the show, ready to offer visitors expert advice on the eco-friendly options that are currently available, or under development, in the market.

The exhibitor list is also packed to the brim with renowned green marine brands such as ePropulsion, Torqeedo and Vetus, showcasing a huge range of products from electric outboards to the latest eco-technology.

Innovation Hub
To address the complexities of green marine technologies, in addition to the many eco-focused exhibitors, the 2024 show will once again incorporate an Innovation Hub.

Taking place on the live stage at the heart of the show will be an exciting roster of talks covering a wide variety of topics on sustainability and ocean preservation, delivered by industry experts at the cutting edge of clean marine technological innovation. This includes an expert-led panel discussion with Q&As focusing on the recycling and repurposing of boating equipment and gear.

MDL’s Green Innovator Award 2024
One of the show highlights is undoubtedly MDL’s Green Innovator Award. Now in its third year, the coveted award distinguishes products and services that are pioneering sustainability innovation and design.

Aimed at projects from both start-ups and established companies, the awards highlight suppliers who are making a special effort towards environmentally sustainable practices and product development.

Nominations for MDL’s Green Innovator Award 2024 are open at www.mdlmarinas.co.uk/green-award, and the winner will be announced during the show on Saturday 20 April.

Beyond the boats and innovative green technology being exhibited, there will also be an extensive range of marine products, including electronics, covers, upholstery and bedding for boaters looking to gear up for the new season.

Renegade Brewery will be making a welcome return to the show, supplying a selection of craft beers, including MDL’s very own Nauti Buoy on draft.
Also returning for 2024, Earth to Oven will be offering their locally sourced seasonal street food, as well as alcoholic and hot and cold beverages.
