Nearly 20 years after Coast New Zealand launched its Marine Bean Collection, it’s added a new Nautilus to its range. The new version is a smaller, streamlined version of the Marine Bean Chair.

As with all Coast products, the Nautilus is made in New Zealand from Sunbrella fabric which carries 5-year exterior and lifetime manufacturer’s warranty. The company says that sand, salt and extended exposure to sunshine and chlorine are not an issue for its collection.

“The Nautilus collection was developed as a direct result of client demand, particularly from boat owners who were looking for a high-quality seating option that were smaller, easily stored, and has a quality soft feel to sit on – unlike vinyl which sweats,” says Nicola Webster, owner of Coast New Zealand.

“As with all our products, the Nautilus been meticulously crafted, with attention to detail, usability, and durability at the forefront of the creative process. We have always been about buying well and get great satisfaction when we regularly hear from clients who have had their Coast beanbags for 10 to 15 years and they are still pristine.”

That’s helped by the fact that each Nautilus features a slip off machine washable cover. Plus, there’s a stainless ‘D’ ring for easy tethering while underway, and a handle for ease of carrying.

Available in a wide range of stock and made to order colours, there is an option to suit most colour schemes. Continue reading about water toys.
