Broker's Comments

This is a Swan very seriously for sale — bring us your offer and we'll take it straight to the owner.

Designed by German Frers and launched in 2001, this Swan 68 was built for an experienced owner with a worldwide cruising itinerary in mind, and it shows. Every detail on this yacht has been considered, and the list of extras and upgrades is exceptionally long. Nothing has been spared in keeping her at the top of her game.

She's had a proper refit too — Hamble Yacht Services went through her in 2022, fitting new B&G navionics, servicing the rig, and replacing all 24V batteries. The electronics package continues to be kept current, with a new B&G Zeus S9, NAC-3 Core Pack and Triton 3 autopilot all fitted in 2023, backed up by the original Raymarine E120 chart plotter/radar at the nav station.

Structurally she's a proper single-skin glass/aramid hybrid layup with unidirectional fibres for stiffness and fatigue resistance, plywood bulkheads laminated to hull and deck, and a lead-and-antimony shoal keel on high-tensile stainless keel bolts — a genuine blue-water build.

The Perkins Sabre 225hp sits behind a 3-blade feathering prop, and she carries a Max Power bowthruster and hydraulic opening transom with swim platform for effortless handling alongside.

Up top, the mast and rigging have been upgraded with four spreaders instead of the standard three, hydraulic furling mast and headstay (Reckmann), hydraulic outhaul, and a fresh coat of graphite grey paint and servicing in 2023. She's finished in a striking Vivid Red Awlgrip hull with Snow White stripes and coamings, and steered from a 70" destroyer wheel trimmed in elk hide.

Three cabins, three heads, and all the amenities you'd expect of a yacht of this calibre below decks.
