Boatshed Wales are delighted to offer for sale this superb Malibu Axis T22, commissioned in 2015 and clearly benefiting from the care and attention it has received throughout its life.
The boat has been dry stored throughout the winter and lightly used, with the 5.7-litre V8 Monsoon 350 engine showing just 353 hours. The engine bay is impressively clean and, like the rest of the boat, presents as very well cared for.
The Axis T22 was designed from the outset as a dedicated wake and surf boat, combining Malibu's proven Wake Plus hull with a spacious 102-inch beam and seating for up to 15 people. At 21'10" (6.65m), it offers an excellent balance between usable space, performance and towability, while its 42-gallon (159-litre) fuel capacity makes it well suited to long days on the water.
This particular T22 is very well equipped for watersports, with a wake tower, board holders, twin tow points, port and starboard transom-mounted Surf Gates and a retractable Auto-Set Power Wedge. The boat also benefits from the three-tank Wakebox ballast system with automatic fill and discharge pumps, allowing the wake and wave to be tailored to suit different riders and disciplines.
The upholstery appears to be in excellent condition, with very little evidence of the usual wear associated with a boat of this age. The gelcoat remains bright and glossy, while the overall impression is of a boat that has been exceptionally well looked after.
There is also an impressive sound system, incorporating multiple inset speakers, twin swivel-mounted tower speakers and a subwoofer, making this a boat equally well suited to relaxing on the water as it is to serious wakeboarding and wakesurfing.
The Axis T22 was an important model in the Axis range, offering much of Malibu's wake and wave technology in a more straightforward and performance-focused package. With Surf Gate, Auto-Set Wedge and substantial ballast capacity, it remains a hugely capable watersports boat today.
