Broker's Comments

Boatshed Norfolk are pleased to bring this superb Kent 27 cruiser to the market. These are high-quality build vessels and this one is a stand out example. She has been upgraded to make a very well equipped and comfortable cruiser for the discerning couple.
The Kent 27 offers quality accommodation materials and fitout and is an ideal spacious couples vessel. The forward cabin can be in a twin or double arrangement and has plenty of storage space and is finished in a warm and stunningly rich teak wood. The good sized heads is to starboard with pump out toilet to holding tank and shower.
Stepping up the main saloon this is a flexible space and is an open plan design that encompasses a large L shaped saloon sitting and dining area. a compact yet very well thought out and fully equipped galley and also the saloon main helm station to port. The helm seat can be concealed to give a larger work space in the galley and the saloon table can be lowered to form an additional bed base with the infill cushions. The floor is all teak and holly and has under floor storage space. Slide out storage draws allow easy storage under the saloon seating. The galley has a good sized fridge, gas cooker and sink and ample storage.
The large main companionway doors can open up to make a large and airy feel to the fully enclosed aft cockpit. This large space is normally outside on these boats. However the current owner has had a boat builder make a beautiful full hard top that totally matched the boats and is a super job. This fantastic roof with her full canopy fully encloses the cockpit when required and is a wonderful feature making the cockpit a great extension to the saloon that is usable all year. Vast storage lockers are on all side in this cockpit area under the seating in large GRP lockers. A great feature of this amazing boat is that there is also a tiller on the aft deck so you can open up the aft cockpit and attach the tiller and helm the vessel from the aft cockpit with its additional throttle and bow thruster controls giving you two helming options to suit your mood. The main helm station allows for seated or standing navigation and she has a full suite of gps, vhf and other navigational and control / monitoring instrumentation. Webasto diesel warm air heating, full shore power, invertor all add to the flexibility and comfort of this craft. Her Yanmar diesel engine appears to start and run very nicely and is very quiet and has been regularly serviced. Her bow thruster was installed in 2022 and she has rent new batteries
She has an electric anchor windlass and a bow thruster so will be a breeze to handle and moor up.
She has just passed her Boat safety certificate so that runs to 2030 and her broads toll is paid. Her mooring at Reedham may be available to the new owner by agreement with the marina owner. Make no mistake this is a high quality river cruiser that looks to be in superb order throughout and will be a delight to her new owner
