Broker's Comments
Boatshed Norfolk are pleased to be able to offer this amazing blue water sailing vessel. This freedom 35 ketch has been there and done it all and got the tee short to prove it. This boat has been owned by her current owner for some 30 years! He has sailed her all around the UK, North sea, Atlantic and further. He has exploits of taking this comfortable vessel to Iceland, Scotland, The Azores and many other places in that time and the boat is very much loved and a part of his life. Unfortunately age has meant that he now sees that she needs to be passed on to another sailing to enjoy what she has to offer and her clear blue water capability.
She is a freedom 35 and has been improved and looked after by her owner. She apparently sails very well and he has seen 17kts with the tide down wind! She has a new in 2019 beta diesel engine that's regularly serviced and starts readily and appears to run very well indeed. She has good sails and rigging and comes with an inflatable dinghy and all you need to go sailing. She has windvane steering and full navigation instrumentation, e-pirb and vhf. Her saloon is comfortable and to port and the galley is to starboard and has a well fridge and gimballed gas cooker and sin. The nave station is forward of the galley.
Forward there is a bow twin that converts to a double and has good storage.
The heads and shower is to port and is a good size.
The aft twin cabin is roomy and also offers good access to the 2019 beta marine diesel for servicing.
She comes with a recent spray hood, dodgers and life raft and various safety equipment. She also come with beaching legs and has a lifting keel.
The engine was serviced in 2026 and she was also out of the water and antifouled April of this year.
She is being offered at a very keen price as the vendor would like to see her go to someone who will use her and enjoy her. Her mooring at the marina may be available to the new owner by agreement

Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
