Broker's Comments
This 2019 Aspen C107 is a well-equipped example of Aspen’s power catamaran (proa) design. The asymmetric hull configuration with the standard Yamaha 200 hp / 70 hp outboard setup (800 hours on engines) delivers efficient performance. The top speed of this hull design is about 25 knots. At a cruising speed of around 17 knots the fuel consumption is about 1.85 nm/gal. At 7 knots the fuel consumption is 2.8 nm / gal. This Aspen features the optional higher fuel capacity (~130 gallons total) providing for an extended range.
The exterior is Flag Blue with white superstructure (gelcoat), and features an extended hardtop with full canvas enclosure, overhead hatches, and skylights - which creates a usable all-weather cockpit. The cockpit itself is well laid out with a wet bar to port and seating area with a removable teak table with bar stools to starboard. The cockpit has deep lazarettes, multiple rod holders, and ample room for free-standing chairs.
The companionway door and starboard window open completely to connect the salon and cockpit for a more open living space when conditions allow. The linear galley is well laid out with a propane range/oven, the dinette seats 4 and converts to a double berth, and the forward master cabin offers an athwartships king berth for easy access with good storage. There is also a quarter berth under the galley.
Upgraded Ultra Leather upholstery, an upgraded Amtico cabin sole, and teak trim give the interior a clean, finished feel. Numerous hatches and opening windows contribute towards a bright and comfortable interior. LED lighting throughout. Heating and cooling is handled by an 18,000 BTU reverse-cycle air conditioning unit.
Other notable features include:
*Garmin electronics suite with radar, AIS, echosounder, and autopilot
*Bow thruster
*3.5 kVA diesel Nextgen generator in a custom sound-insulated box on the swim platform
*Sport Rails on the extended hardtop for storing gear
*320 watts solar
*Fusion Stereo in salon and cockpit
*Aspen Davit for Zodiac dinghy with 6 hp Yamaha outboard
*Fold-down radar mast with 360 degree LED illumination
*Float-On 11,500 lbs capacity double axle trailer
