Broker's Comments
Boatshed Norfolk is pleased to be able to exclusively offer, for sale, this large ex-hire Ideal 45 river cruiser.
Off hire a couple of years ago she is fully serviced this year and heavily improved to make a stunning and very spacious liveaboard vessel or large family cruiser.
This is one of the larger Broads cruisers offering 5 separate cabins and comfortable accommodation for 10 people when required. There are 3 toilets all electric flush, 3 showers, a very large sociable saloon and a smaller midships dinette that converts to a double if required.
The split galley is across the full width of the boat at the aft end of the saloon and offers lots of storage - a great practicality with her full range of appliances.
With three separate and dedicated double cabins you can leave the dinette and saloon so they are sitting and relaxing areas but convert to berths when required giving immense flexibility for the larger family.
She boasts a modern Nanni diesel engine with shaft drive that was serviced in April and has a new higher capacity alternator fitted.
The boat appears to be in a very clean, tidy and well presented condition and offers huge external space on the aft deck and additional forward deck.
The current owner has had all the upholstery replaced and this a high quality job that matches throughout the boat in a light coloured quilted style that really lifts the boat.
A bow thruster was fitted 2 years ago so she is a breeze to manoeuvre. She has full shore power with battery charger and calorifier with immersion fitted and a 2500w inverter and a smaller 130w inverter too, plus full shore support and changeover system for the 240v systems to integrate seamlessly.
She benefits from two Eberspacher diesel warm air heating systems, microwave, toaster, full size gas cooker etc the list is extensive.
The current owner had the forward twin cabin and twin bunk cabins converted to make a large forward island double which is a far better layout creating a master froward ensuite cabin for the private owner.
Her Broads toll is paid and she has a current valid Boat Safety Certificate and is a superb option for extended cruising.
These boats do not come up for sale very often and are rare on the private market. This will make great, large family river cruiser or an amazing live-aboard home.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
